A Little Bit About Moe...

I was born in Boston, MA, summering on the south shore, eventually my family making the permanent move. The middle child of 3, I didn’t have to search for adventure it seemed to find me. As a child I was happiest outside, whether exploring the beach or the woods, (that were so vast and full of wonder) Now, I live with my 17 year old daughter, (the greatest birthday gift one could ever receive) and our two Irish Doodles. We enjoy anything out doors most especially
paddle boarding and beach combing for sea glass!

WHY DID YOU BECOME A MENTAL HEALTH GROUP FACILITATOR?

I had graduated from high school and had immediately gone into the travel industry working for airlines, travel agencies, etc. I had always
been drawn to working with people, encouraging, facilitating
support in any way I could! I briefly went to school for psychology,
switching majors graduating with a degree in dental science,
which I was a dental hygienist for 26 years. During all of those 26
years, I feel like I was hunting my ability and desire to circle back
where my heart was. I applied and attended the Institute for
Integrative Nutrition and achieved a certification through Columbia
University as a health and lifestyle coach. This was just the
beginning…I continued taking classes reading…Always motivated with my mom’s heart to uplift my daughter!! I worked briefly for a therapy practice in Astoria, Oregon… DBT classes re-ignited my desire to assist support and encourage the journey of
others!
