A Little Bit About Victoria...
I was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the beautiful heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. I’m the oldest sibling in my family and love to visit my family members who live all across the country and dog-sit our family rescue dog whenever I have the chance. Growing up, I lived in a variety of places throughout Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Connecticut, and made the Boston area my home in 2020. I love living near the water because the ocean has always been my favorite place to be! When I’m not enjoying New England, I’m typically exploring somewhere new. I love trip planning and travel, learning about other cultures, and adventuring in the outdoors. The moment the weather is nice, you’ll likely find me hiking, kayaking, swimming, biking, or backpacking. My favorite things to do on days when the sun is hiding are to get cozy with a movie, have a game night with friends and family, and conquer a new escape room.
WHY DID YOU BECOME A THERAPIST?
Growing up around family members who worked in psychology and prioritized mental health care, I’ve always had an interest in emotional and behavioral health and have wanted to be a therapist since childhood. I loved the experience of studying social work in college but wasn’t confident at the time about what was next for me, so initially pursued a different career path. I’ve found therapy to be incredibly valuable to me in my own life and couldn’t shake my interest in one day becoming a therapist. I continued to feel called back to social work until I took a leap and began my master’s program at Boston University. I couldn’t be happier to finally be on the therapist career path and feel so honored to be able to connect with people in this way. I am passionate about supporting others in their goals in a way that provides them with tangible hope.
